I usually don’t have problems envisioning a character after being described but I’m having a hard time with the description of Aimee LeDuc. I imagine her as being chic (I mean the series is set in Paris) but the book’s description of her clashes with my envisionment of her. I know it sounds silly but I’m having a hard time with this. Anyone else experience this and how did you resolve it?

I've read and enjoyed several of the mysteries, but not recently, so I can't summon a mental image at the moment.  If I remember correctly - slim, fashionable, somewhat punk? fact I will look for some of her more recent books now.  However, it occurred to me that it is odd that none of her Paris novels have been dramatized.  They could be terrific filmed with the right cast and director.   I wonder if she turned down offers.

I just can’t wrap my head around her being “punk”. I guess it’s my Hangul🙁
