We are all waist-deep into wedding season and feeling the LOVE! Mr. D and I recently attended Lisa’s wedding (our dear friend from the Temp-tation’s team). We had a BLAST: she is gorgeous, her sweet husband Joe is wonderful, and everything was just SO beautiful. Here are a few “photo-peeks” into the beautiful day!

We had a BLAST with everyone. I just love our QVC family and we are so lucky to have each other. Here’s a great photo of some of the QVC folks that were there!

After such an amazing day, it got us thinking about our own wedding. It was THE BEST day of both of our lives and I still feel like the luckiest girl in the world (EVERY day) to be married to my best friend.

Then it got me thinking about how I could help pass on advice to anyone who is currently planning their own wedding. We were married in my parent’s backyard with less than 10 people in attendance. We ate BBQ, laughed throughout the night, and had a wonderful time! Here’s my thought: keep it simple and stay on budget. Easy to say right? The most important part about that day is to make sure you and your sweetheart are happy. Stick with that as your main thought throughout all the steps and you’ll end up with the perfect day.

Organization helps make the big day less stressful, for sure. Did you know that you can create a Wish List on qvc.com and then e-mail it to people?! Up to ten folks at a time! That way, you can start gathering ideas and share them with folks who are helping you plan your wedding. OR, use it as your registry!
