The recent heat blast in the northeast has prompted several questions from my own pool of friends. The mother of a child in my daughter's class just said the other day: "I can't stand when it gets this hot because you don't want to wear anything with sleeves, but I don't like to show my arms."  

Solution: CAFTAN!

If you tuned in to Bob’s recent shows on QVC, you saw a couple of them. They are a great answer to wearing something that is light and not revealing, yet offers full arm coverage.

I do want to share that with all of these silhouettes the arms are not open so that your sides are exposed to all the world. They all have stitching that closes off the garment on the sides, but the coolness and built-in air conditioning will keep the flow of air, especially on those hotter days. Aside from all of that, you have gorgeous, one-of-a-kind, work-of-art pieces that everyone will notice.

I once heard an expression: "Live life everyday like you're on vacation." I know it's easier said than done, but, in the summer with the warm weather and the outdoor fun, you can try, and there is nothing that says vacation like a pretty caftan.
