Try thinking through your health and wellness a little more this week. Be intentional in how you sleep, eat and move. Those three categories (in order of importance) are what make up your total balance, in my opinion.
Sleep- Decide when you will go to sleep and wake up and stick to it. Don't let life get in the way. Plan some margin in there so it’s not a struggle against the clock.
Eat - Meal plan this week. Pack your lunch or your car snacks (my favorite!) Decide which night you will eat out and what day you let yourself "cheat" a bit. Get that water bottle and commit to filling it up more today. Don't just let the munchies or the afternoon snack attack get you. Intend to eat at certain times of the day, and figure out ahead of time what it will be.
Move - My favorite of the three. Make small goals. Decide you will take a few more steps or buy a pair of tennis shoes or stretch when you first get up. Don't say "oh I’ll work out this week," without planning where and when that will happen.
Being intentional isn't just about your body…it’s a mind and soul thing too. Think before you speak or write. Your time is too precious to waste on moments that don't make you happy or lift others up, so be intentional with every single minute you are blessed with this week. And that means planning for the downtime too. You deserve a break, make sure you intend to give yourself one.
