"Back to school" is a terrible, sweat inducing phrase.

"Back to school shopping" however, is magical.

Every year as a kid, you had the opportunity to re-invent youself through your fall fashion and it was always the best part of going back to school. This week on Styled Out, we took a look back and remembered our favorite childhood outfits while checking out some great new pieces from OrYANY, Attitudes by Renee, and Denim and Co.

 

Our Models Adrienne and Stacey made the grade this week with some amazing looks.

 Everybody needs a great ankle boot. Whether you wear them with cuffed jeans or black tights -  they are the perfect way to elevate your style this Fall. What I love about these boots from Sole Society is the amazing suede and leather material. Also, can we talk about that stacked heel? Be still my heart. Standing tall at 4'11, a stacked heel is my absolute everything.

Bethanie Lori swung by the Styled Out desk to talk a little fasion during the show. Since we were talking about back to school fashions and the idea of re-inventing yourself, I asked if she had any tips on how to change up your look. She summed up her philosophy perfectly with one quote:

She mentioned that if you wear a lot of black, try pops of color.  Or if you do have a colorful wardrobe, try some different patterns. Whatever your go-to style is: don't let it completely define you. When revamping your style -  don't be afraid to try something new.

You all absolutely loved this Dooney Bag - especially in our dazzling Cobalt shade. An easy way to renew your wardobe is to switch out accessories, and who could resist an absolutely perfect bag like this?
