Recipe: Pineapple Banana Green Smoothie

I was a little late to the “green smoothie” trend as I was skeptical they would taste good.  Well, this smoothie recipe was a game changer for me.  Not only is it delicious, but it’s packed with fruits and dark leafy greens.  Now, we’re blending daily in my house.  I love drinking my greens!

Another help to a great green smoothie is a powerful blender!  I’ve been using the new KitchenAid Magnetic Drive Torrent Blender. Its powerful motor makes super-smooth green smoothies at the touch of a button!

Stay tuned, live demonstrations will be airing very soon!  Join the fun on our Facebook page for airing information and recipes!

Pineapple Banana Green Smoothie Recipe

  • 2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk or coconut water
  • 2/3 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 banana, peeled
  • 2 cups baby kale or spinach leaves
  • 2 cups frozen pineapple chunks.
  • 1 piece crystallized ginger (flat, 1” long), if desired

Layer in blender in this order and blend until smooth or use the KitchenAid Torrent Blender’s Adapti Blend “Icy Drinks/Smoothie program.

Hi Tina:

I love all my KitchenAid appliances and get helpful hints from the demos on the Q.  However, I do miss the little lady that was always on with David.  I believe her name was Kathy. { could be wrong about that}   Haven't seen her in a long time.  Hope everything isOK.

Have a blessed day.

Is Laura Weathers still on the KitchenAid team?  Or is she gone for good?  Thank you.
