Spring Unleashed! Spring at Longwood Gardens

by ‎04-19-2016 01:58 PM - edited ‎04-19-2016 05:04 PM

When Spring finally hits Pennsylvania, me and Mr. D head over to Longwood Gardens. It’s SO spectacular and completely inspiring. Here’s a look at some of our day-trip from last weel! Everything is blooming on the grounds of the gardens right now. From hyacinths to tulips to double-blooming daffodils – it’s all so bright, pretty, and happy.

After we tip-toed AROUND the tulips, we headed to the greenhouse.

Here is a shot of the stunning main view of the greenhouse. It smells like unicorns in here. Here are some of the different varieties in the greenhouse:

Time to head down the hallway to see the orchids!

There are HUNDREDS of orchids in the Orchid Room. Here are three of my favorites and the photos don’t do them justice!

We circle back to marvel at the Bougainville…

And marvel at every second we get to spend here. I hope you get to visit one day, but until then, I hope my blog tour will hold you over. One final point: help me identify these flowers, please! I did not write down their names. Do you know what these are? Thank you for your help!
