Some Spring In Your Step

Here we go again. 


Baaaaah! That seems to be the prevalent sound around our place these days. Spring is a busy time of year over at the Hughes' Farm. It's once again "lambing" season. Seeing Mother Nature's miracles happen right before your eyes is something you'll never forget. You can't help but be amazed at how cute these baby lambs are! The first year that Kelly and I went through this process, we were both completely fascinated by the fact that lambs can walk—actually run—just minutes after being born. Wow, human babies are such slackers.


Kelly and I love this time of year for other reasons as well. Trees start to bud again and birds return from a long vacation. The days grow longer and WARMER! If you take a few minutes each day to take in your surroundings, you’ll see a small change every time you look. When I was outside yesterday, I found the first little buds on our willow trees. Spring is coming and I'm ready for it!
