Greetings shoe lovers!  Lauren here, back to share some more behind-the-scenes moments here at QVC!

Last week my team and I met with Jane Treacy to talk about her upcoming Shoe Shopping with Jane show.  My team meets with Jane before every show to chat about all the great shoes we are bringing in and to talk about Jane’s favorite footwear trends.

In addition to talking about great sandals,   we got to talking about summer vacations since Friday marks the First Day of Summer!  I asked Jane Treacy and a few others here at the Q to share what shoes they pack for vacation –the pictures are truly inspiring, take a look!

Jane Treacy shared her recent trip with her family to Washington D.C.:

“The wrong shoes can ruin a great vacation! That's why on a recent trip to the nation's capital I brought four QVC styles, including the Clark's worn here. My shoe girls are always working so hard to find the perfect pair for you, it’s fun to see where their shoes are taking them this summer!” – Jane Treacy

Our On-Air Sales partner, Alicia, recently jet-setted to Amsterdam in April:

People do a lot of walking and biking in Amsterdam, so I knew I needed to pack a good pair of shoes.  My Skechers Bobs were the perfect pair, and kept my feet comfortable and not to mention stylish for my entire trip! - Alicia

“No trip to Dutchland would be complete without trying on a pair of wooden clogs!“

Our other resident shoe lover, Gabrielle Kerr, shared her shoe-cation style from her recent trip to Oman:

 “So what kind of shoes did I wear to go sightseeing in the country of Oman?  Four inch wedge espadrilles of course!  In these photos I am standing in front of the Sultan's Palace and in the others I am climbing the stairs of a watchtower.” – Gabrielle Kerr

Another one of our On-Air Sales partners, Melissa, just got back from a recent trip to the Jersey Shore:

“Here I am at the famous Wildwood board walk, wearing my Orthaheel Fleur sandals.  I love them so much that I have them in three different colors!” - Melissa

Backstage I ran into our resident “Ryka Girl”, Leilani Learn, and she shared that she loves going to the beach with her son:

 “ Wearing My Ryka Aspire Fitness Shoes, my son Patrick and I enjoyed our first Jersey Shore sunset of the 2013 season looking out over the bay in Avalon.  We are looking forward to more relaxing days at the beach this summer!” - Leilani Learn

Our Off-Air Sales partner, Samantha, shared that she loves going to her nephew’s baseball games:

“My Orthaheel Tides have been in the best fan section of my nephew’s baseball game!” - Samantha

I even ran into Amy Oselkin, our Clarks guest, who shared that she also took a trip to Amsterdam this summer:

 “I’m always saying how Clarks are the perfect travel shoe and this past May I truly practiced what I preach.  For our three year wedding anniversary, my husband and I went to Amsterdam, Bruges, Brussels and London and I rocked my Clarks in each country. Here is a shot of me wearing our Clarks Alto Anthem triple-adjust wedges with a retro inspired dress in Amsterdam. Not only are the sandals super comfortable, but they also went with practically every outfit I packed! “ - Amy Oselkin

Our On-Air Planner, Chantel, took an exotic cruise to the Cayman Islands:

Our Merchandising Trainee, Sara, kicked off her shoes at the beach:

“I went to Atlantic City and wore my favorite pink Spenco sandals!  They are perfect for any beach trip, and are great for walking on the boardwalk!” - Sara
