Shawn and Joe take on California!

I put a little blog together for you of Shawn and Joe's trip so far. I borrowed (stole) pictures and text from Shawn’s Instagram account, her posts to Facebook and from the texts Shawn sent to me. I hope you like it!

Dear airplane seat,

Thank u so much for not giving me enough leg room. It makes me feel safe to have my knee hitting the "What to do in case of water landing" brochure. Signed, 'Remind me next time not to wear a short dress on vinyl seats'

We are happy in Nappy (Napa valley) at the Solage Calistoga Resort.

Here we are at the Palmaz Vineyard! What a winery. The owner is a doctor who invented the heart stent. Sending out a big thank u to our tour guide Jordan!

Wine glasses are highly overrated!

Joe and I have said goodbye to wine country and just crossed the bridge into the big city. Woo hoo! Never been to San Fran and already luv it! Next stop, a ride on a trolley car. Let the cliches begin!!!! (vacation is hands down, "the bomb". Must figure out how to do this full time )

Looks like fun! The trolley cars are fun if you get a friendly operator who lets you "hang out". If I had mountains of money I'd live in Sausalito. Nice post!

Glad your having such a great time out there in California, Mom and i wish we were there as well but are glad you and Joe are having such a nice time at the Wineries, and just relaxing. Both of you deserve it so much, since you both work so hard at your jobs. Can't wait to see you back right were you belong...miss you so much!!!! Susie-q and Mary Hovanec.... Just love you dearly!!!
