Ready, Set, Grill!

I get questions all the time on my website and Facebook page asking about my favorite kitchen products. Truly, all of my products are, because I had a need for the item myself and then was determined to create the product and share it with all of you. One of the things I love is grilled food. Why?

Because grilling has all sorts of health benefits, and in my opinion, grilled food tastes better than traditional methods of cooking. When you grill, grease drips off the meat, making it healthier than cooking in the fat. Therefore, get a lower-calorie meal that has amazing taste!

Grilling can also save you time. It’s a quick and easy method of cooking so you'll be more likely to prepare your food at home and avoid those oversized portions at a restaurant. Grilling also doesn't take away any of the natural tenderness and flavor of the meat. Grilled meat often preserves the intended flavor and texture of many meats and vegetables — without sacrificing essential nutrients.

I hope you tune in this Wednesday, April 27th at 1 p.m. and 9.p.m. ET on QVC to see my Non-Stick Health Grill in action.

It’s large enough so you can prepare dinner for your entire family (15” x 11”), yet small enough to fit on your countertop. You don’t need a propane or charcoal grill to get those wonderful grill marks on your food — my Health Grill will give you the marks and the great grill taste. Oh yeah, another great feature is the glass top, so you can see what you’re cooking and actually melt cheese on your burgers or Parmesan chicken.

While you can serve up lunch, dinner, or sides from the grill — from shrimp kebobs to burgers to marinated veggies — you can also grill your breakfast with the included griddle for pancakes or French toast. My favorite part is that once your meal is served, the entire grill can go in the dishwasher for a quick clean-up.

Check out all of my grilling recipes in my new cookbook, “Choose This!”, which includes meals like Apricot Pork Chops, Asian Chicken, Pizza Burgers, and my Cinnamon French Toast.

So if you haven’t had an outdoor grill for a while, I think I have your solution! Learn to cook in a healthy way with My Health Grill and you'll be making a good choice for yourself — while still enjoying the delicious flavors of your favorite foods.
