Please Meet Jasper!

I grew up with pets my whole life. We have had cats, dogs, fish, and goodness-knows-what-else that were loaners from different schools. My husband and I have been missing having a creature around, so we went looking at the local shelter and found Jasper. 



Jasper is a year old and had been at the shelter for a short time. He is a domestic short hair tabby and at 8 pounds, he is already a stomper!  I locked eyes with him immediately and we had a total movie moment: I had to get to know him better. We hung out for a while in the shelter, we fell in love, I talked it over with my husband that night, and the next day we were driving him to his new-forever home!



I know every cat needs their own adjustment period, but after a week, he has just moved right in! We still have lots of time to get to know each other, to form our schedules, and learn behaviors. He seems to be completely comfortable and we are so thrilled he likes us as much as we are already crazy about him. He even found the “Cat Channel!”
