Our Story

by on ‎01-19-2016 04:05 PM

Our family’s love of food extends back further than we can remember, but it was in 1975, when we opened the first Meat Stop, now known as Rastelli Market Fresh, that we started sharing our passion with the community.  It is more than a business to us.  It is tradition.  It is our heritage.

From the very beginning, we dedicated ourselves to doing things the right way. We wanted to give others easy access to the kind of quality food and products that we would serve our own family.

Whenever you stop by our butcher shop, you will always run into a family member.  Every generation is involved.  The passion for great food runs deep.

Some may think of food as just a meal or time taken out of their day to prepare, but food is more than something to eat.  It is time spent with family making memories.  It is togetherness.  From the youngest grandchildren to grandparents, food brings everyone to the same place at the same time.

Ask us if we have a favorite recipe?  We have hundreds, but here is one that is fun for the whole family in the kitchen.  We hope you’ll try it!
