One More off the Bucket List

One day, I stopped in the green room to say hi to Marie Osmond before our show together and noticed how great her skin looked. When I asked about it, she told me that someday when I could get to Los Angeles, I should go to the Kate Somerville spa, because it is one of the best!  A lot of celebrities go there.

Now 15 years later, I finally got to go!

It was just a couple of years after that green room conversation that Kate began bringing her products to QVC. After trying a few of her amazing products and meeting the kind woman herself, I was sold on her passion for women's skin!  Every time I would work with Kate, she would ask, "When are you coming to my spa in L.A.?"  I've kept saying 'someday!'

'Someday' finally came this past weekend, because I flew to LA to secure an apartment for our son, Cory, who is moving there from Miami soon.  Since I had a little extra time, I called Kate and made an appointment to experience her spa. And what a great experience it was!

As you would expect, it's beautiful inside. The waiting room is filled with shelves of her products, and very kind, considerate people are behind the counter.

One of Kate's top facialists, Lucy, took me into a room, which was also posh in every way. During the next two hours, Lucy did the Exfolikate treatment and the Dermal Quench oxygen treatment, which they call "the Celebrity Duo", as well as Giselle giving me a Laser Genesis treatment, which is designed to help stimulate the production of collagen under the skin. I had never done anything like that before. It wasn't painful at all, just a warming sensation, and it gives you a rosy glow for a few days after that - no downtime. I felt like I was being treated like a queen, and it was so relaxing!  Just what I needed!

The result is that my skin looks so good and feels so good!  Wow! I understand why celebrities do that the day before a red carpet event!  But the best part is this: beside getting to check that off my bucket list, I can have her products at home and continue that look and feel from home all the time.

My Favorite Kate products are: Exfolikate, Dermal Quench, RetAsphere night treatment, Deep Tissue Repair night cream, Age Arrest Eye Cream, and Mega-C Dual Phase Serum. All of her products are great, but I always make sure I have these on hand. I have several of these on auto-delivery.

So if you are in the LA area, go visit her spa and get a treatment. In the meantime, try her products through QVC, and see what her products can do for you!  I know it was an experience I'll never forget!!

I do try and use lots of different skincare; I guess it comes with the aging territory.Plus, I have to be knowledgeable about what we offer and truth be told - I'm like a kid in a candy store when it comes to trying new products for my face and I probably use more than I really need. But, I am really seeing great results with my current skincare routine and I'm seeing fewer wrinkles than ever before:

Here's to you looking your best,
