Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree

I love Christmas decorating, and as we all know the tree is the star of the holiday. Before the big day is here, I wanted to share pictures of my tree and ornaments with you all!

The weather here in Pennsylvania has been rather warm for this time of year…nevertheless, Nikki and I managed to wait for the coldest day to go get our tree.

Despite our limited choices, we were determined to get a tree that would fit in the room…this tree met our qualifications!

It was wonderful to have Nikki help me get the tree in the stand...although I was on the sixth screw of eight when I said to her she could let go...her reply? “Oh, I wasn't holding the tree.” LOL. But all was well anyway!

This year I remembered to get a tree that fits in the stand and holds our angel tree topper too! It was a Christmas miracle!

As you can see, my other holiday helpers did an excellent job of supervising.

I always believe that your tree should tell a story of your life…we decorate ours with lots of special ornaments that we’ve collected through the years.

One of my favorite ornaments of all is from my grandparents. I used to love to help my grandparents decorate their fake silver tree...this ornament was always very special to my granddad so it is an honor to give him a special place in our home every year!

Now all we need is Santa to arrive to add the presents under the tree!!!!
