Hello my Northern Nighters !!! Welcome to January.  The holidays are over, the decorations are down,the weather is a bit dreary .....what is a girl to do?  I decided to de-clutter and spruce up some rooms.  I took my own advice and sometimes that is not easy. I cleaned out a closet or two a week.  Then I tackled my office ......oh what a mess.  Then I replaced some shower curtains and of course refreshed my towels with new fluffy NN in a different color.  I changed the color of the sheets I was using in the master and Kevin's bedroom with the our new wrinkle defense collection.  Believe it or not it made a lovely difference.  Sometimes change is good to start the new year.  Just that little bit in my home gave me the inspiration to make some subtle changes in my life through exercise and eating habits. New year...new me!  So, you know how when you tell your girlfriend all the things you have been doing and they are like .......what that is a great idea I want to do that!  Well guess who the sheet police paid a visit too?  That would be Mary Beth Roe and did we ever have a fun afternoon.

Both of us miss our Wednesday mornings on air with each other and of course you.  So we had a lot of catching up to do.  From her son Eric winning state representative to her beautiful daughter turning 18, and the scoop on the rest of her gang.  We caught up on all of the Davies happenings and then we got busy.  I brought her the 420TC wrinkle defense with extra pillow cases in gray.  She wanted to change the look of her guest bedroom.  Her concern was a sheet set that would update the room, year round weight, and neutral enough to go with different comforters she might use.  No problem sheet police to the rescue armed with my Northern Nights.  Here are some pics of the before and afters.  We were lucky enough her handsome hubby Mark was home so he got some great pictures.
