Never Underestimate the Power of Concern for Others

Never underestimate the power of concern for others. This cute little fellow was in our yard and appears to have lost the use of his hind legs. Singe has taken to loving him and keeps an eye on him as we try to bring him back to health. Her tenderness towards this little rabbit has been a joy to see. He eats, (poops) and other than his paralysis seems happy and healthy.

I always thought that dogs and bunnies did not get along. Isn't it on page one of the puppy manual that dogs chase rabbits? No, Singe has chosen to be affectionate. She wills herself to show concern and gently nuzzels her new friend trying to help him move.

There are stereotypes with all animals...including us human beings...making a conscious decision to care is what allows us to overcome them all.
