My Winter Hawaiian Escape!

For those of you who follow me on Facebook and Instagram, you may have noticed I was away from work for a week this month. Between the blizzard and cold weather, I decided to take a tropical detour to refresh my bones and soul! I had the pleasure to vacation in Hawaii several times before, and when friends invited me to stay with them, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity! You’re invited to come along too!! Check out the scenes and beaches of Oahu in my photo diary, and if you feel the urge – hula along with me!

My home for the week! It really was paradise!

The great part of staying in a home was that I got to go to the local farmer’s market and cook healthy meals.

The best part was having quiet relaxing meals by the pool.

I went on a few scenic excursions too! Check out the waves crashing up the shore!

I went Kayaking every day for some sun and exercise.  I also got to run on the beach every morning.

Hawaii is a blessed place! It is filled with tropical flowers and bright colors all set against a blue sky.

I made sure to take care of my body by using sunscreen and floating in the pool a LOT!

 

Lastly, I discovered Life IS truly better at the beach!! It makes me happy Smiley Happy

Aloha Hawaii!! This truly was my dream vacation!!
