My Best Friend's Wedding & the PM Style Blog Chat!

Hi everyone! As I write this I am recovering from a really intense weekend… of celebrating the BEST Wedding ever!  This past weekend my BFF Sally Claire, got married to the love of her life and we had the most wonderful time.  She needed to have won an award for the most laid-back, relaxed, beautiful bride and let’s face it; usually that triple threat doesn’t exist.  Sometimes you’re thinking… Who are you? What have you done with my best friend? When did your head turn a full 180 degrees?  I kid, I kid…  Here’s a wedding recap and some photos {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

Ashley, Sally, and Me all met in the same pledge class at Ole Miss for AOPi (Alpha love is what we’re doing with our hands). We all have three very different personalities but for some reason when we get in the same room, we all take over, and you can bet that we are having more fun than anyone.

Bridesmaids- Sally’s Memphis group of girlfriends were so awesome, I’m sad we don’t all live in the same town.  We had the best time sharing stories about Sally and getting to know each other throughout the weekend.  I can definitely tell why these girls are her closest friends as well.  Please meet the blondes to the left Lee, Rachel, and on the right, Leslie.

Wedding day in the sweetest chapel with a 57 Chevy (that’s what everyone was saying and let me also be clear; I believe everything everyone tells me).

Sally and Barry’s first Dance

It’s not often that upon meeting your best friends soul mate you feel like he’s been a part of the group the entire time.  Barry loves Sally more than I can explain and I am so happy that they chose each other to spend the rest of their lives with.  I couldn’t imagine a better couple{#emotions_dlg.biggrin}.   And yes, I’m wearing a miniature top hot.  Who wouldn’t?!

BEAUTY OBSESSION: Dr. Denese Luxury Defense Day Cream

These are some true facts about my skincare regimen; for a very long time, I did not enjoy putting SPF on my face nor did I like tinted moisturizer.  Here’s the deal… SPF has always burned my eyes.  I used to tell my mom it was because my eyes were blue and were more sensitive than brown eyes… but that doesn’t really sound like it makes sense nor based on scientific fact now does it?  I always wanted to wear a tinted moisturizer because my skin needed to even out a little, but did you ever find that with tinted moisturizer it went on cakey or that you had to add more moisturizer to get them to even out?  That was always my problem so I kind of wrote it off completely.

If I could describe to you the texture- it’s like satin and cashmere had a baby and the best of both qualities were made into this cream.  I admit it was a little thicker consistency than I was expecting but at the end of the day, I really appreciated the coverage and protection.    On most days (When I’m not on air) I use this as my foundation because I haven’t found it to disappear on my face halfway through the day.  This cream makes it seem like I have nothing on my face and yet I get all the credit for the flawless looking skin “What have you been doing?” “Did you get a facial?” “Your skin looks so healthy!” So thank you Dr. Denese for allowing me to say “Oh nothing, really” and keeping this secret to myself for a whileJ.  But now it’s time to let the cat out of the bag.  Look how good it looks on these skin types…
