Whether you’re a fan of the prim and proper looks of the 1950s or the grunge inspired 1990’s – we had something for you in tonight’s Styled Out. This week we were talking about our favorite time periods of fashion, while updating our wardrobes with plenty of modern, timeless looks. Sandra rocked the show in a perfect look that stole a little bit from every time period: the pencil skirts of the 1940s, the black tights of the 1990s and  a complete classic – the black v-neck sweater.

Talk about timeless.  The herringbone print of the jacket is an absolute classic that really gives that gorgeous town and country feel to the ensemble. A perfect polished sweater underneath the jacket only elevates the look and the bootcut pants and the heels add a fun flirty twist. Happy hour with the girls after a long (fashionable) day at the office? You’re set. Stylishly.

Classic meets contemporary. Check out Sheila’s fabulous printed fleece big shirt. A button down silhouette never goes out of style and is always a great start for a high fashion look. Pair that with a fabulous pair of faux leather pants? Girl. Just, girl - talk about a stunning date night look.

Styled Out favorite Bethany Lori swung by the show with a beautiful bag from OrYany – the Tristen.  A sophisticated silhouette with some fabulous details gives this bag a classic look with some contemporary twists. Available in 4 colors, there’s a choice for every fashionista.

As always, it was great to end the week on such a stylish note. Love how trends never really die, they come back in new inventive ways. It's so much fun to see how different time periods have influenced contemporary fashion. What's your favorite throwback style? Mine is definately the classic blazer.
