Hi everyone. Are you ready for Fall?! I hope the answer is yes! I know I am. For this Designer Gallery the majority of the pieces are true "TRANSITION". They are "Wear Now", right into Fall and Winter.....next Spring too. I will be illustrating to you [on the models] how you can wear the clothes now and later for Fall/Winter.I am doing 3 pieces in the stretch cotton twill, same as A79626 [blazer with zipper details], which is a terrific transition fabric. A83575 is a 5 button jacket, slightly shaped, spread shirt collar, slant band pocket and has a new interesting sleeve detail. The colors are rich, deep and saturated: Purple, Sienna, and Olive. A83576 is a coordinating cotton twill stretch pant in Olive and Black. A83571, again in the stretch cotton twill, is a BEAUTIFUL Leopard print safari type jacket. All of you Zebra jacket lovers will want this. The print is truly beautiful. A83572 is a Leopard print, crinkle silk georgette, stand collar, tunic shirt. It looks great dressed up or with jeans. Unless it's 100 degrees in the shade, these are wear now pieces.....almost 10 months out of the year. The last two pieces are for Fall. A83573 is a satin trench jacket. The fabric is new and has a hammered effect. It has a military look and trust me when I say, it could be out of the pages of any fashion magazine........very high fashion....very HIGH END. It also looks great dressed up or with jeans. The colors of this jacket are Deep Magenta and Khaki. Of course a line would not be complete for me without a suede piece. This time I'm offering A83574, a 3 button classic blazer [yet, it's anything but classic]. It's in a rich Brown and Olive and has contrast double row of stitching all over. It's the type of jacket you can wear any time, any where, with everything...it is timeless. Since, as of now, I'm scheduled to be in the 11 to midnight hour, I hope there is time left to present everything. I hope this wets your appetites. I'm very proud of the product and hope you feel the same!
Now for your questions and comments:
BLINDDOGS- I'm sure you were the best dressed woman at the Greenwich Yacht Club event! I am planning some new tops similar to the A80721 and will keep in mind your fabric suggestions. I do, however, still love the "Shine" fabric and since it was well received, am planning some new styles in that as well. Thanks for all your "Annie" advise. She is doing really well and back to her young frisky self.
~K~ Glad to hear you got your A78354 blazer. It has been reordered for next Spring with the addition of a new color. The Zebra print jacket has also been reordered for next Spring. If you haven't received it already, I hope you can wait till then!
RELUCTANT CUSTOMER- I know the A69921, cotton sateen blazer is going to be reordered again. If the buyer wants a new color, I will definitely suggest Navy. It would be a perfect Navy jacket.
SOLDOUT- I couldn't agree with you and HollyG more. Accessories can make or break an outfit. When I design I always think of the complete outfit, from head to toe. I have always designed accessories and shoes. Hopefully the QVC people read these Blogs and will take it into consideration. Bravo to you for knowing how to properly wash silks. Next Spring I'm planning "Washable Silks".....so everyone can wash them.
KNNICK- Sorry, but it's not possible for me to give my personal E-Mail address....I'm sure you can understand why.
HollyG- Thank you for being such a loyal customer. It's great that you purchased the leather coat with the gold tone buttons and zips. I doubt I'll be able to do another like it. The price of leather [good quality] has sky rocketed, and that coat would now be out of the QVC price range. However, I will keep trying to raise the bar.
I look forward to "seeing" you all Monday night.
Till then take care and God bless..........Louis
