A Lisa Robertson Christmas continues this Friday at 10pm ET! This week’s topic is Great Gifts Under $50.
Here’s this week’s video tip…enjoy!
And here's one more thing to consider. What do you do when someone got you a gift and you weren't expecting one? Is a return gift required? And if so, what do you give him/her?
First, think about your relationship with the giver. I think this really depends on whether you’ve helped the giver throughout the years and they’re just saying thank you, or, if they’re buying it because they think you’re friends. If the former, and someone is giving you a gift because you’ve been helpful, consider it a true thank you gift and you needn’t feel obligated to give something in return. But, if someone buys you a gift because they consider you a friend, they’re going to expect a gift in return.
In that case, I always keep emergency gifts on hand like Halo Charges or Mrs. Prindable’s apples. Gifts of food are good standbys, because everyone loves it. Sweets, especially, are a safe bet!
See you Friday at 10pm ET!
