Get Thanksgiving ready with these Turkey Tips that will leave you wanting seconds! Keep reading for the tips!
Ingridents:
Fresh Turkey (aaprox. 1 lb per person)
Citrus, fresh herbs, root vegetables cut to ½ inch cubes
Butcher string, plastic gloves, sharp knife
Tips:
1). Preheat oven to 375 F
2). Pull out the gizzards and pat dry
3). Season with compound butter that has chopped fresh herbs and salt and pepper
4). Stuff the bird with citrus
5). Tie the bird
6). Placing in the roasting pan with other veg and a little bit of water
7). Cook for approx.. 4-6 hours
8). Breast & wing temp = 162 to 164 F
9). Let rest for 15 mins
10). Make pan drippings gravy
11). Carve Turkey and serve with roasted vegetables and gravy.
