QVC & DELL: DELL DAYS SWEEPSTAKES

OFFICIAL RULES

QVC, Inc. and Dell, Inc. (“Sponsors”) are sponsoring the Dell Days SWEEPSTAKES (“Sweepstakes”). NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER TO ENTER.  VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to abide by all terms of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor whose decisions shall be final and binding.
 
HOW TO ENTER: Sweepstakes to commence on May 4, 2012 at 5:00:00 PM ET and end on May 11, 2012 at 11:59:59 PM ET. All eligible persons may enter this Sweepstakes by retweeting to the provided QVC tweet. QVC shall randomly select three (3) Winners from all eligible entries. QVC or a representative of QVC shall contact Winners through a Twitter direct message on or about May 15, 2012.  Winners shall be prompted to respond to QVC via email with Winner’s full name and mailing address. Winners must respond within forty-eight hours of being contacted by QVC or a representative thereof. Sweepstakes limited to one entry per person. Any other attempted form of Sweepstakes entry is void.  Any person who attempts to participate with multiple e-mail or street addresses, under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to enter in excess of this entry limitation will be disqualified; use of programmed, automated or like means of entry is prohibited.
 
All entries must be received by May 11, 2012 at 11:59:59 PM ET.
 
Sponsors are not responsible for lost, misdirected or late entries caused by hardware or software errors or other technological malfunctions or failure of any kind or invalid/non-operational email address, disconnection or garbled email.
 
Sponsors are also not responsible for any incorrect or incomplete Sweepstakes information on the QVC Twitter Page whether caused by web site users, the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or other cause. In the event of a dispute, all entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the Authorized Holder of the Twitter account, who shall be considered the valid entrant.  “Authorized Holder” as used herein is the natural person who is registered with Twitter.

DRAWING – Three (3) Winners will be determined by a random drawing from all eligible entries and will occur on or about May 15, 2012.  QVC reserves the right to delay the random drawing.  The number of eligible entries received will determine the odds of winning.  Winning entry is subject to validation. 

PRIZE – Three (3) Winner will each receive one (1) 15.6” Dell Inspiron Notebook. Estimated Value of one prize: $749.00.Total Estimated value of all prizes combined:  $2,247.00. If Winner is unable or unwilling to accept the prize or fails to abide by these Official Rules, in general, he/she will be disqualified and the prize forfeited; and, in such event, an alternate Winner shall be selected from among all remaining eligible entries received.  Prize cannot be substituted or transferred by Winner. If a Prize must be forfeited, Winner will not be given the cash value of the prize. Prize Winner is solely responsible for all expenses not expressly included. All taxes are the responsibility of the Winner. PRIZE PROVIDED by QVC and Dell (“Prize Providers”).  Winner and/or parent or legal guardian may be required to sign an IRS Form 1099, Form W-9, or the equivalent for all prizes valued at $600 or greater, or for any prize as to which QVC, in its sole discretion, believes it is warranted. 
 
By entering the Sweepstakes, each entrant accepts and agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of the Sponsors. QVC or a representative of QVC shall contact Winner through Twitter. Winner will have forty-eight hours from the time of notification to accept the prize by responding to QVC via email with their full name and mailing address. Noncompliance with the time period described above will result in disqualification and an alternate winner selected. Winner may be required to present proof of identification prior to claiming prize. Acceptance of any prize shall require acceptance of the terms of these Official Rules and shall grant Sponsor the right to use Winner’s first name, last name and city and state of residence for any publicity associated with this Sweepstakes. Sponsors reserve the right to disqualify any individual that Sponsors determine in its sole discretion to be tampering with the Sweepstakes (including the entry process). Sponsors may prosecute fraudulent activities to the full extent of the law. Prize Provider reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to substitute the advertised prize (or component thereof) with another prize/prize component of equal or greater value should the advertised prize/prize component be unavailable for any reason. Unless otherwise prohibited by law, Winner grant Sponsors and their affiliates and subsidiaries permission to use Winner’s name (as described above) for advertising/trade/promotional purposes and to disclose Winner’s  name and city without further notice or further compensation. Winner agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsors, Prize Providers, and their affiliates and subsidiaries and their directors, officers, employees, and agents from any damage, injury, loss or other liability that might arise from their participation in this Sweepstakes, or from their acceptance, use/misuse of prize, or from the malfunction of prize.
 
 
ELIGIBILITY – The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the United States and US Military establishments, excluding Rhode Island, 18 years or older as of date of entry. Employees and agents of QVC and Dell and their parents, affiliates and subsidiaries, and their immediate families (parents, children, siblings and spouses) and their same household members are not eligible. This offer is void where prohibited by law, and is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
