Hello, beauty seekers!

I've seen some recent comments about the NuFACE Trinity At-Home Microcurrent Facial Toning Device and our newest attachment, The Wrinkle Reducer, so I wanted to personally address your questions and concerns.

I know some of you are worried your device isn't working because you don't feel anything when you use it. Rest assured, it's working! If you're using your Trinity device properly with a layer of NuFACE Primer covering your skin, you should feel a very mild sensation or none at all. NuFACE devices don't vibrate or contract your muscles. The microcurrent gently stimulates your face with a low-level electrical current. If you start out feeling no sensation, but begin to feel the current during the treatment, your NuFACE Gel Primer layer may be drying out or too thin. I recommend working in sections with the gel to avoid it drying out.  You can also refresh the gel by adding more NuFACE Primer to the areas experiencing sensation. Remember, both spheres must always be touching your skin simultaneously for the treatment to be effective.

Some NuFACE users have also expressed concern about their devices not charging or turning on. It's important to note that we recommend charging your device for a full 24 hours before using it. If you're still experiencing problems, we recommend resetting it. Every NuFACE Device is manufactured in San Diego, California, so transit time may vary depending on your location. During transit, the battery of your Trinity device may deplete, which may require a simple reset. Follow these easy steps to get your device charging in no time! Remember, charge your device for at least 12 hours before your first use.

To reset the device, first remove the Microcurrent Facial Trainer attachment by pressing the release button and lifting the attachment off.

Obtain a paper clip and bend it as shown. Locate the reset hole to the right of the white serial number label on top of the device.

Place the device in the charging stand, making sure it's plugged in and fully seated. Insert the paper clip into the reset hole as shown until it stops. It isn't necessary to apply any downward pressure. After making contact and resetting the device, one or more LED lights will flash three times. Two power-up tones will follow. The increasing sequential LED pattern will then start, indicating that charging has begun. Leave the device in the charging stand for at least 12 hours. The reset must be administered with the device seated in its charging cradle in order for it to be effective.

Now that we've addressed potential issues with the battery, you should be ready to lift away! When I'm working in the spas with men and women just like you at home, the excitement is contagious. Everyone is so excited to see results that the first questions they ask me are, “Kate, when will I see results, how long will they last, and how often do I have to use my device?” I'm always happy to share that most users see results after the first treatment; however, results may vary. I recommend treating one side of your face and taking before and after photos. We recommend using it once in a 24-hour period for 5–20 minutes per treatment. Once you feel you've achieved your desired results, you can move to a maintenance program using your device 2–3 times per week. That's how easy it is.

As you may know, NuFACE is known for its forward-thinking technology. If you happen to own the Wrinkle Reducer Attachment designed to treat full-face wrinkles, you may be wondering why the lights flash. The lights flash to increase the efficacy of the treatment. The flash treatment is unique to NuFACE. If you're sensitive to the lights, you can always wear a pair of goggles, which can be purchased from your local drugstore. When you turn your device on, the LED lights flash and illuminate four times. The lights only illuminate when they're in direct contact with your face. When you remove the device from your face, the lights turn off until they come in contact with your skin again. It's such an easy treatment to do while sitting on the couch watching your favorite TV shows! You don't need to use any gel with the Wrinkle Reducer, which makes the treatment even easier since there's no need to wash your face again afterwards!

I personally like to start my day with my Facial Toner. It's like a morning workout for my face that lifts and energizes me, allowing me to put my best face forward. Before heading off to sleep, I like to unwind with my Wrinkle Reducer. I love the little bit of warmth the lights give off. I find it to be soothing and relaxing. It's the perfect way to end a long day.
