Anniversary Fun

A huge thank you to all of you who stayed with me during my anniversary shows and to all the new owners of my Today's Special Value® pendant! What an exciting, stimulating, and satisfying event. Special thanks to my genius host Lisa Robertson for an exhilarating early-morning show, when we kicked off my two-tone pendant. And thanks to Jill Bauer at 10 a.m. for another two hours of fun. I capped off the day with a nonstop, three-hour, hysterically entertaining, slap-happy, punch-drunk show with Lisa Mason. We also did an incredible business on QVC.com which shows the importance of the RLM Studio shop.
I love the new blog and must say that photo of me in New Mexico is one of my favorites; it shows me in a true state of joy.
The only crazy side of this record-breaking anniversary event is that I still haven't been able to see any of my on-air shows due to a miserable mistake I made when I accidentally pulled out the cable from my DVR when trying to record my shows. I lost everything. Can you imagine my utter horror to come back to New York, all excited to relax and sit back to watch the highlights of the day and be faced with absolutely nothing. It's like preparing for a two-week cruise and then arriving late to the port and seeing the ship sail off without you. Deep, deep misery.
So I'm waiting now for QVC to send me copies of all my shows and sells, including the nine-minute sell that my assistant Carly did for me at 4 a.m. so I could sleep in the hotel. It was her first time on air and I'm so anxious to see how she did. So by the time this blog gets posted, I hope I will have seen what I think is the most entertaining series of shows in my nine years at QVC. I'm especially proud of the last three hours, barely able to remain upright in my chair, Lisa Mason and I blurring the lines between network TV and home shopping. This has been a goal of mine since we first started and it felt like it worked. Tell me, how did you feel about that last show? Wasn't it fun to watch?
Looking forward to hearing from you, and by the way, I do read the threads on the community forum. I want all of you to know, that I do care how my work is manufactured. This is a prime issue for me and my staff - finding the best contractors in the world to produce quality jewelry at prices necessary to compete on QVC. Trust me on this. Thanks for your heartfelt support.
With the spirit of inspiration,
Robert Lee
