In December of 1986, if someone said to me that I would be celebrating my 25th anniversary one day at QVC, I'm not sure that I would have believed you!!  Truly, when I auditioned I thought I'd be here six months to a year at the most, never dreaming QVC would become my family and you would be such a big part of my life!  The final 25 to Watch program of the year is my Jane's Gift List-One Week till Christmas on Sunday the 18th of December from 7 to 10pm EST.  Oh what fun we will have!

Not only have I been able to choose great gifts for you guaranteed to arrive in time for Christmas gift giving, but we will look back on the 25 years of QVC.  My Dad recorded many of my shows in the early days, thanks to the Sony DV Direct we copied them to DVD and we will have clips on air as well as on qvc.com.  As for gifts, I am so excited that there will be new items in jewelry you have not seen all season long and something for everyone on your list.  We have an incredible lineup of guests planned for you, and we will be all dressed up to celebrate the show!  In fact, two of my dear Irish friends, Stephen Walsh and John Cullen are flying in from Ireland to celebrate with you and me.  My family will be a part of the show too, and since you are part of my QVC family I look forward to celebrating this special day with you. 

As we have been preparing for this event, so many people asked "what is your favorite QVC memory?" and just like potato chips I can't stop at just one! Looking back, some of my favorites includes:

-Calling QVC and talking to David Venable both times I held a new baby girl in my arms

-Having my Mom and Dad on air with me on my birthday many years ago

-Meeting my future husband Sean backstage and not knowing he would be my future husband

-Hosting the Inaugural Ball show with David Venable in 1997

-The opening of our new studios the same year, 1997

-The first Shoes on Sale in 1995

-Donny Osmond singing my favorite Disney song to me from Mulan 

-Most recently, all the Smithsonian shows especially our remotes from the Smithsonian Castle

And, getting to work with Joan Rivers, Michael Crawford, Hank Aaron, Carol Channing, Charlton Heston, Peggy Flemming, Rachel Ray, the list goes on and on.  Let's do 25 more!!!
