Hi there,

This month I’m turning my blog entry over to Editorial Team member Ashley. As copy editor, Ashley makes sure all our i’s are dotted and our t’s are crossed. But that’s not the extent of her talents, as you’ll see below. Take it away, Ashley!

Hi! I hope you’re enjoying the start of fall and all it has to offer—football, falling leaves, cool mornings, pumpkins, mums…what’s not to love? I’m sipping on hot apple cider as I write this—there’s something so comforting about it. I’m pretty sure you can’t be angry, frustrated, or unhappy while drinking hot apple cider—it’s just not possible. But enough about apple cider…

Earlier this month, program host Leah Williams celebrated 20 exciting years at QVC. Over the past two decades, we’ve gotten to know Leah through InsideQ stories (I’ve posted some blasts from the past below!), on air during shows like AM Style®, by following her on social media, during meet-and greets, and in other special ways. So in celebration of her important milestone, I asked Leah 20 things you may not know about her. It turns out Leah and I share a similar morning routine—and we have the same taste in brewed beverages.

1) Favorite QVC memory? My first time on air—it was both thrilling and terrifying.

2) Morning routine? Watching AM news shows.

3) Coffee or tea? Tea.

4) Favorite season? Summer.

5) What’s always in your refrigerator? Eggs.

6) What do you collect, and why? Shoes. I love shoes!

7) Favorite city in the world? Fresno, California, because it’s my family home.

8) TV shows do you never miss? The Good Wife and Empire.

9) Movie you can watch over and over? Grease—it’s fun to sing along.

10) Speaking of singing…favorite song? “Fantasy” by Mariah Carey.

11) How would you describe your style, in three words? Classic, feminine, confident.

12) Impromptu talent show—how do you win? Lip sync Aretha Franklin’s “Respect.”

13) What one item would you save in a fire? Family photos.

14) Best advice you’ve ever received? Be kind.

15) Who would you want to play you in a movie? Beyonce. She can do anything!

16) Favorite QVC purchase of all time? A gold bracelet—it was my first purchase and the start of everything.

17) Book you’ve read twice? Song of Solomon by Toni Morrison.

18) Favorite way to relax? Spa day.

19) Guilty pleasure? Chocolate anything!

20) What’s the first thing you would do if you won the lottery? Build a dream house overlooking the ocean.
