Re: why doesn't QVC do some ""try me"" kits anymore?

Type in "beauty discovery kit" and you will 15 kits by brand. Prestige kits obviously cost more. The kits I like best are by item, 5 lipsticks, 5 mascaras, etc.

I think she is referring to the ones with various brands in one kit, not brand specific kits like the ones you are referring to. But maybe I misunderstood the OP.

The Try Me kits are a very smart marketing strategy. I don't think I would have tried Josie Maran's products without them -- now I am hooked on her line. I went from skeptic to believer in one kit.

Exactly. I would try her line if I could get a try me of various items in smaller sizes. That is how I started using Philosophy.

KCDiva: I got started with a Josie Try Me kit very similar to A251191.

I went to Dr. Denese's website and purchased a try me kit which I have been using also. Quite pleased with it.

I love the sample size kits for 20 bucks and free shipping! Unlike the test tubes this last one was actually different products! Very nice.it's worth it to me even if I don't like a product because I didn't spend the full price to find out it was no good

As mentioned- try me kits are often called discovery kits. They're also great sizes for travel!

I buy the try me kits for travel also... After watching the TAs

at the Airport throw away full size containers of expensive creams

and lotions belonging to others...
