happy october 10th everyone. its my anniversary. 14th!! lol, at 6 am in my pre-coffee stupor, dh whispers up to me from his throne in the bathroom below, "happy anniversary honey" . groan.....i totally forgot!!! he had stayed home from work today to do something, and lol, naturally i had my art co-op and belle' guitar lesson.

we had a pizza from the freezer, and went to our couples group. whoop-de-doo, lol.

BUT that is not what my rant is about.

my rant pertains to the complete randomness of the fall scent presenting and availability. for some reason when i saw the pomegranate in a pear tree on the q page, with no observable fall scents being listed or shown, i was really irritated.

now , we all know this is really small potatoes, and not the end of the world, but here is why it irritates me so:

some of us have been attempting to lessen our stashes and stick to some form of our 2012 compact. and while admittedly my interpretation of my own rules has become more and more loose, lol, i still have practiced more moderation this year, than any year in the past.

i was looking forward to some fall scents, as those are my favorite ones. the ones i really savor. and it seems like i have been playing the shell game trying to find the few there are.

what i used to love about the q was that we USED to have the newest, bestest, and most exclusive scents here, but now it seems like it is more like an afterthought. a completely random selection. i had still been holding out hope, that with the oct 13 show, there would be some fall TAA-DAAA, that would make my patience worth while.

but with the encroaching of the holiday scents that seems like a quickly vanishing pipe dream.

so , ok, fine. will it matter in 5 years , no, of course not. am i a little miffed, yes, but though i am glad phil is bringing back some oldies for Christmas, i also feel like they are cheesing by on almost no comparative effort this fall/holiday in relation to all the scents they have tossed out since the first of the year.

they dang well better bring back the conditioner as they had told one poster they would for holiday, or it will be close to a bust for me!!

i am having a hard time practicing my detachment with this, for some reason my frustration has creep-ed up again.

i am however enjoying my autum air from last year (yes i made fun of it in some posts, yes i was silly) the pumpkin and orange are great together, and for some reason, though i love my bakery notes, this fresh spin on fall is really great.

so blaH. AND WITH NO CHRISTINA FOR THE LG REVEAL, things seem like a bit of a drama fest.

take it easy, have a great weekend!! we are going fluorite digging!!! dh and dd are psyched.
