Hello @60sgirl - Thanks for the review! Does this product lather? Thank you in advance!

no, no lather, it's put on dry hair first, then rinse and another small amount on the wet hair and rinse out. I really like it and today, one day later, my hair still looks clean and bouncy and full. Just need a touchup with a curling iron in some spots that got "kinked" during the night

I'm done with P.C. Just say what you mean and mean what you say. It's easier.

Re: tweak'd Rare Treasure Review

I've tried two of these so far.  First, I'm not a fan of fragrance, and these, other than the above the clouds, are a little strong for me.  I used the above the clouds first.  Loved how it felt in the shower, but I felt like my hair was coated after I blew it out.  (Please note, this probably bothers me more than it would bother someone else.... I hate the feel of anything in my hair!) I did make my hair look and feel fuller and shiny, and it styled well.  Day two it felt worse in my hair, but my hair was still clean and looked okay.  Day 3, I colored my hair, so can't comment on how my hair might have been.

Today I used the peaches and cream.  i had to run down the block for a few minutes, so didn't blow my hair out until it was almost dry.  It's a little flat, but that's because I didn't style it properly.  It feels okay, but I'm still smelling the product, which I don't like.

I'll try the chocolate next, but will try all of them a few times before the final verdict!

Over all, I like his products, and I'm pretty sure I'll be happy to have these in the rotation.

Some comments I would like to add as I too just recieved these.

Note my hair is shoulder length, medium thickness and naturally curly. I do not color it, flat iron or blow dry it. I wash my hair every day.

  • Rinse, rinse, rinse! I am a brunette and noticed immediately upon exiting the shower that there were very very fine Beads of product in my hair. Residue if you will. The next time I made sure I rinsed my hair more than I thought was needed, this problem did not return.
  • The peaches and cream scent smells more of cream, it is very pleasant. For my hair type, I think that this might be a heavier product. I think I will need to "tweak" how much of this I actually use when I wash my hair.
  • The chocolate is the straight up winner for my hair. Yes, it smells great but performs the best for me. By this I mean my hair is curlier and not weighed down.
  • I tried the Above the Clouds today 12/29/15.  As others stated, it is a very light "baby powder" scent.  I think this might be my #2, to the chocolate.  My hair is curly, soft and mostly frizz free. Does not feel weighed down.
  • For my hair length and type I use about a 1 1/2 in. "Dollop" of the product. I have no idea if this a tsp or not for the first treatment when hair is dry.
  • For the wet portion I would say I use about a quarter size amount of product.
  • Very little frizz, but still use a little Nick Chavez mesquite defining product and a touch of mousse.
  • Extremely soft hair!
  • I seem to have less fall out, for me at least.

I am glad that I ordered this on Auto Ship.
