I was never tempted to buy Tips, but I wanted that hoof-shaped file every time it was on! Has anyone used the file, and is it available anywhere else?

The file wasn't great. I much prefer a glass/crystal file. A good glass file from NailTek or Essie will last for years - just wash it every once and a while and it's good as new. For my edges, I use the side of the glass file tip to slough off any filing residue under the nail and then seal my edge with a foam buffing block. Those are inexpensive at Sally Beauty Supply stores.

I have been using the TIPS and Perfect Formula for years. Love them both! I can honestly say that I do see an improvement in my cuticles and the skin around my nail. My nails also have become stronger. I also have used the TIPS on my toes and was noticed improvement there as well. I see online that there is a specific formula for the toes but not sure if I will order that one. (I am trying to scale back on the number of beauty items that I have for every task.)

I also use the A.S.K. nail remover which is the best that I have ever found. It does not dry out your nail and has helped with my problem of peeling and splitting in combination with the TIPS and Perfect Formula/

I have very fair skin and a ton of allergies. I also take medication that plays havoc with my nail strength and really dries out my skin. The combination of these products have brought back my nails like they were years ago. I am very happy with the results.

I think that air time is allocated to what is a larger profit maker for QVC as well as what is the latest, greatest or in the mega brands. More money in the newer brands of nail polish.
