Does anyone like tips? I worry when something hasn't been on in years I wonder if they have new owners because of the new bottles The one call the other day was a phony for sure so where it is so expensive I would love any comments

I thought it went away. I haven't seen a presentation in ages. I use perfect formula and like it.

I tried tips when the brand was the new rage on the Q. I was faithful for well over a year and saw very little improvement in my nails. For me, it was a money sink.
White iodine does much more for strengthening nails and I have found nothing that truly tames cuticles.

I hated it. Not to mention the only ingredient was soybean oil! Just go to the health food store and pick up some oil. I wouldn't recommend this one in particular because it wreaked terribly. I personally like coconut, almond, or apricot. Also argon. i think any oil will do if used appropriately.

I saw the TIPS woman a few months ago, but I haven't seen her since.
Anyway -- I tried the brand a couple of years ago and it did nothing for my nails in terms of building strength. However, it was a great cuticle oil.

I prefer Solar Oil that I can get at CVS. Much cheaper and smells better. I actually found that Tips dried out my nails over time and I could not stand the smell.

I, also, tried it when it first came to the Q.....and it did nothing for my nails...

I just applied it about 10 min. ago. I am finishing up my first bottle and purchased the duo so I have another.
My cuticles and the skin around the nails were awful. I do believe that the product has worked well. My cuticles are smooth and I am able to push back instead of cut and the area around the nail looks healthier overall. I don't like the smell of it, but will overlook it due to performance.
I've applied other oils and creams such as JM Intensive cream and it doesn't work as well as the tips does.

I used Tips once and it turned my fingernails brown. It took months to grow them out - it was embarrassing.
Now I use and love Nailtiques.
