I don't know what the tanning drops are.  I bought 2 self tanners recently from QVC - Josie Maran, Argan Liquid Gold Self-Tanning Oil.  It's nice, but it goes on light.  For a darker tan, I guess you'd use it more times, after the 1st coat dries.

I also ordered St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse.  It gives much better coverage, and makes skin considerably darker than Josie's.

I like Josie Maran self tanning oil so much. I use a light touch plus I put it in some moisturizer and apply and it gives the right color for my pale skin. One of the best self tanners I have used.

I use the clarins...just a couple drops mixed in my facial moisturizer. I’ll never use anything else for color on my face
