i have been using tan towels for years. loved them and also the on the glow lotion they make but didn't like the smell that came after a few hours. they also have a bit of an orange glow and can streak if you are not careful. well....i just found the holy grail of self tanners at walgreens. jergens natural glow! $9 for a huge tube. it comes in shades to fit your skin tone. i bought the medium. omgosh......no streaks and the color is exactly like the sun would have done to your skin. just a beautiful brown and you can use it everyday if you like or once in a while. the coolest part is the smell. when you put it on it has the smell of a nice lotion and even after hours there is none of that nasty self tanner stench. give it a try ladies. i think you will love it!

I agree Jergens is what I've used (before tan towels came out with same w/my last shipment) to keep my tan towel "tan" fresh....but the smell to me was nauseating! I would do a hour before bedtime & yikes it permeated my sheets, etc.

It may just be me OR the scent has changed haven't used in over a year.

Yes love tan towels even though I live in FL & have "permanent" tan they are perfect for touch up!

I liked how the Jergens made my skin look, but not the smell! Too much fragrance for me.

Jergens is full of mineral oil, petroleum and DMDM Hydantoin, none of which I like to use on my skin.

Tan Towels do have a terrible, lingering odor, otherwise they are a fave of mine too.

I have not noticed much of a smell from tan towels but the Jergens was horrendous!  The smell caused me to cough after application for about 3 minutes steady!  Each product reacts differently on everyone.  I found tan towels to give me the most even tan of anything I ever tried and Jergens got blotchy on me no matter how smoothly I applied it!

Jergens has such a stench.  Full of garbage.  I've just started trying Tan Luxe oil drops you add with your own moisturizer.  First self tanner I've ever used that looked natural.  No orange and it goes on beautiful.  No streaks.

i have been using the tan towels for years.

i have never noticed any smell.....one of the main reasons why i love and use them.

no streaking, no odd color,  no mess, no odor, easy to use and carry, use it at night to wake up with a tan.

I tried tan towels a few years ago and they gave me an orange color   Smiley Sad

The Jergens natural glow is what I tried after that. But the ingredients are not very good!!

I would rather slather on my body something that is free of chemicals  Smiley Happy
