I had medium brown hair and decided to get it highlighted. I wanted suble lightlights and was more blonde than I wanted. They corrected the bangs part. Years ago I would get my hair highlighted but they used color - I think this time the salon used bleach?

Now its been three months and some of the dark roots are showing - not a fan of that. Normally my hair could could grow out fine from the highlight - not with this highlight..

What should I do?? I have thick past the shoulders hair. If they were to dye it would that harm my hair??

I have fair skin, blue grey eyes...My hair used to be dirty blonde to light light brown..I do have a few hairs of grey starting to come in - I'm 55 - maybe a dozen hairs if that.

I do like highlights, but I like them not so glaringly noticeable..I don't know if they dye my hair will it damage my hair??
