Supergoop Glow is a chemical sunscreen.

@SilleeMee  -  It's confusing.  Would be nice if the sunscreens state if they are mineral or chemical instead of the consumer trying to figure it out.

I use Neutrogena Clear Face and I think it's a chemical suncreen, but I could be wrong.

@San Antonio Gal

Usually a mineral one will say 'mineral' on the bottle and that means no chemical sunscreen ingredients.

@Shelbelle  -  I don't know if I can take the rose scent of this one.  I looked it up at the Vitacost site and this is one of the recent reviews:

@SilleeMee   Yes  the glow screen isn't  totally free, I still wear the tinted one in place  of foundation. I only wear face lotion usually. I don't make up much anymore.  I use Glo screen once a week.  The play and a couple other ones basically use zinc as the sunscreen. I like them as they are reef safe, cruelty free, one is vegan. But the Glo screen isn't totally chemical free

ETA.  Now I am remembering, the company didn't quite tell porkies about their product being chemically free....But they did exclude an ingredient or two in the Glo screen.  They were sued. This wa snack a while   They do disclose about it now. Most of the products are chemically clean, a couple aren't

The rose is from the stem cells that are used in there, which is a very good thing as in skin care. the scent is not all that powerful, and it dissipates very quickly. does not bother me one bit, it is a very high quality product. There is an entire line of Andalou rose skin care products, all for more sensitive skin types. I really like it !!!

Re: @silleemee and anyone else

@Janey2   Always hated using sunscreen on my face.  I felt like my skin was being smothered...   until,  I was introduced to LaRoche Posay's Anthelios Cooling Water Lotion sunscreen.  It comes in SPF 30 & 60.  I actually look forward to using it.   It drinks right into your skin and is great under make up.   It does have a slightly glowy finish,  which I'm fine with.  I would not be without it.

Good luck in your search.
