Can I wear the Skinn Stem Rejen over a non-Skinn product? Specifically, could I wear it over a vitamin C serum in the daytime?

I love Skinn's cleansers and there's a kit of them that comes with a bottle of Stem Rejen. I'd like to try the Stem Rejen, but would I have to wear it alone? or could I layer it on top of something else?

I don't want to buy a boatload of Skinn products -- just want to try one new product at a time.

Any comments or reviews on the Stem Rejen? Thank you.

You sure can! I put on my "watery" serums first, let them sink in, then apply my Stem Rejen serums. They're not watery at all, more like a thin lotion or cream.

Thanks bunches, MarenSeattle! I was concerned with mixing the two - even tho I usually top my vitamin C serum with a Clinique moisturizer without any problems.

You're welcome bunches, tototwo!

I just now noticed you asked for comments or reviews. Which Stem Rejen did you get -- face, eye, lip -- all?

When I first tried them I didn't like that they WEREN'T watery like all my other serums. Strike 1. Then I swear I put them on and my face almost instantly looked dull. I came screaming here about how disappointed I was -- to have that kind of response almost immediately. Strike 2. I was mentally packing up my return.

Of course everybody was "you can't tell after two days..." I KNOW you can't expect RESULTS in a couple of days, but I sure didn't expect not to like how it made my skin look in two days!

I think I was waiting for something else to arrive and I thought "well I have to use SOMETHING so I kept using the Skinns. Probably the next day I'm going "dang, my face looks GOOD!" And I've been happy, and happier, as time has gone on. Which is why I won't shut up about it now.{#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

For my face, it just looks more clear (not dull at all!) has a radiance, more cushy, plump, don't know how to describe it.

The eye serum has made that crepey stuff subside, and I had kind of a crosshatching thing going on under one eye. Gone. I put on the face serum all over, then put the eye serum over that, so really know which one to attribute it to -- or both. I have not seen a LIFT from the eye serum that others have, but that's okay.

The lip serum is just really emollient and feels wonderful (they all feel wonderful). My lips gave color and this has filled in the shriveled parts.

I don't think anybody else is noticing any great improvement, but they probably never looked as critically at me as I look at myself. I'm so happy that I'm looking in the mirror going "pretty good, Maren" rather than "man, I have got to find something that works on my skin!".

I know, TMI, right?{#emotions_dlg.lol} I sure hope you're happy with yours!

Maren, I love it when someone is that enthusiastic about a product! I really appreciate your taking the time to write your thoughts.... however, I'm still on the fence for 2 reasons: (1) you mentioned in another thread that the Stem Rejen made your eyes teary -- my eyes are super sensitive and I have "teary" problems with most products, so that concerns me; and (2) I saw the TTV for today. I want that makeup kit with the plasma foundation!!

I can't buy everything (I've already ordered a lip kit), so may go for the TTV makeup kit and wait till next month to re-order cleansers.

Decisions, decisions...............
