questions for those that have tried/use Mally's cushion foundation (the one with the sponge)

For those that use it, do the colors run true, lighter, darker? I haven't tried any of Mally's foundations but I either wear fair or light in most foundations (usually fair). Which would you recommend in hers? Does the product last very long? What application method do you like the best?

TIA

I have this and love it!! I love most of Mally's products, they work well for me. Her Poreless Perfection Powder Foundation is my HG product - the shade Light was made for me. In her liquid foundations the Light has typically been too light, and the medium has been orange.

I have this PP foundation in the sponge compact in Light, and it's PERFECT. Very light feeling, beautiful look to the skin, just enough coverage and is build-able. I can't tell you how long it lasts as I use it sparingly, and am on my first compact. For what you get it is expensive - so it IT's version. It came with a small brush and that is what I use to apply it.

As far as the shades go, the Light is pretty forgiving, it's not a heavy product. I got it in a TSV kit, it's kind of expensive on it's own. If you look online there are video's and pictures with swatches of the shades. HTH

Here's the Light: http://www.musingsofamuse.com/2014/07/mally-poreless-perfection-fluid-foundation-review-swatches.htm...

I couldn't find any other swatches either. I would think the fair is really, really fair. All of Mally's foundations seem to be more yellow based vs. pink based, if that helps at all.

thank you! I like to check out musings blog but I can never get a good grasp of colors from her swatches in terms of how it would look on me because her skin is so different than mine as she has a much more olive tone. I *think* that might work but, again, hard to tell for me.

Is there SPF in this one? I picked up an IT cushion foundation and like it a lot but don't love it. Little heavy on the slip for my taste. It does, however, have mineral SPF and I really like that it is fast, easy to use with light coverage. I really wanted to try the Amore P but the SPF was chemical and that irritates my skin.

I don't know if Mally's does or not- still in the "investigation" mode. I dont really rely on my foundations as my SPF though so it doesn't really matter to me if it does or not. I like them to have it but it isn't a deal breaker since I always wear and additional SPF underneath.

Have you tried Dr. Jart's BB bounce beauty balm (a cushion type foundation too)?

Mirenesse has one too but still trying to find the ingredients for that one.

Ah darn, my response just blew up. Try again. o
I don't expect adequate protection for m/u either. I use SPF for that. Chemical SPF usually irritates the daylights out of my skin, though.
Have not tried the Jart and I'm not familiar with Mirenese. Asian also?

I don't use chemical sunscreens either because they irritate my skin and well, frankly I don't think they are that safe based on what I've read.

Mirenesse is an Australian brand I believe. Many people rave about their mascaras.

Oh, HD! How could you? A mascara rave rumor? My weakness, ya know.
