~ question about Lipgloss ~

Hi all .....

I just got MAC's lipgloss "Entice" and I love the color. My problem with it is it seems thick. I tried some on last night and it looked like I was globs on my lips. I need to tone that down. Lipglosses do not last that long for me. Is there a trick to making them last longer? Put them over a lipstick, or over a pencil that you have colored in your lips with?
