What other formulas have you tried, and how did they leave your hair?

How long is your hair and how many pumps do you use per cleanse?

Do you do 2 cleanses (rinse & repeat), add lots of splashes of water to get the Wen really frothy as you massage it in, and rinse enough?

Sorry for all the questions, but the better we get to know you the more we'll be able to help! {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

When I use the pumpkin Wen, I use very little. My hair doesn't feel greasy but it does make the color of my hair look more red. It seems to give me more body but since I'm trying to avoid a reddish color, I use it only once in a while.

Some people with this issue use shampoo fist then wen as a conditioner.

Usually this means your not using enough. How long, thick is your hair? And how many pumps are you using?

The usual 3 culprits are:

Not using enough

Not leaving it on long enough

Not rinsing enough

It took several cleanses for me to get things right for my own hair. My hair is extremely thick and coarse, so I need a little more than the recommended amount for my length. I also needed to rinse longer than I was. I thought I was rinsing adequately, but once I actually DID rinse enough, I could tell the difference.

I have been using WEN on and off for several years. I can't use Pumpkin either. It weighs down my hair and makes it dirty. Not all formulations are right for everyone.

OP has only 2 posts, both new threads questioning WEN, with no response to answers, and very oddly worded. Would like to give her the benefit of the doubt, hope she returns to this thread.

You are probably not using enough. Or maybe it is just not for you. I can only use the seasonals. The regular items leave my hair this way, too.

Try this (if you want): use LOTS of water and get your hair really wet. Add lots of WEN--- if using smaller bottle, twelve pumps----larger, about five--- work in addimg more water for froth---work in---add water---work in again....leave in while you shower.... then about two minutes later, rinse rinse rinse rinse. Then rinse again. If you have hand held shower head, use that. Need good water pressure.

I never clease twice. when out of shower, while hair is wet, I use one pump of styling cream on the ends and comb through with wide tooth comb.

Surprisingly, I don't have to was my hair every day any more, so I don't mind using that much product.

Good luck!
