hello,

i bought this tsv https://www.qvc.com/Pop-Sonic-Set-of-3-Cleansing-and-Exfoliating-Devices.product.A346265.html

when i first received it, i plugged them in to charge. i don't think it charged. according to the instructions, it's suppose to flash.

i  have been using it for probably close to a month, so i plugged the one in that i have been using and it's still not flashing. i would think that at least some of the power would be gone, and it would charge.

my question are
how do i know if the charge functionality is working?
am i missing something about how/when to charge?

has anyone that bought this tsv charged their yet?

thank you

@iwrite  Welcome to the boards!!

I’ve had a Pop Sonic for many months. I only had to charge it once.A charge lasts a very long time.If the light was steady when you plugged it in it means that the unit still has a lot of charge left.Unplug it.Don’t overcharge it.

If you plug it in & the light blinks give it about 20 minutes & it will charge up & the steady light will come on . You can go to the Pop Sonic website for a tutorial.

It needs charging only when the indicator light comes on when it's just sitting there.

thank you for replying.
i really wanted to make sure that i understood the directions because if it isn't charging, i could send it back and get a new one.

yes, when i plug it in, the light is steady. i left it for maybe 30-45 seconds to see if it would flash.

it would have been nice if this was explained during the on air presentations, as the charging works differently, then other gadgets. by that i mean when you plug in your clarisonic or sonicare tooth brush, it flashes when it's charging and stops flashing when it's fully charged. this popsonic only flashes when it needs to be charged.

i took your suggestion and went to the web site and watched the video. it confirmed that i was doing it in the right order, by plugging the use part of the cord in first, then plugging the other end into the device. i was shocked to see that they said it was ok to plug this into your computer. while that isn't against the law, there is no way that i would plug something like this into my computer. maybe a desktop, but not my laptop.

thank you nicksmom

Re: pop sonic cleansing device

@iwrite  I purchased the Leaflet by Pop Sonic last year when it was a TSV.  It was already charged when I received it.  The Leaflet is a little smaller than what you bought but it fits perfectly in your hand.  I only charged it once a couple of months ago.  It could be that your Pop Sonic Leaf was charged when you received it.

thank you katcat1,

yes, after reading posts on this thread, i came to the conclusion that my leaf's were fully charged when they arrived. i just wanted to make sure that they were working correclty, in terms of charging them.

as i don't use the leaf full time (twice a day), so to speak, it may be 3 or 4 months before mine needs to be charged.

while the leaf is growing on me, i'm not giving up my clarisonic, just reducing the number of brush heads i need to buy every year, by trying to use the leaf once a day and for all hot flash episodes - LOL
