Hi everyone. I have been using wen SAM for over a year with fabulous results. I don't even use any styling products, just the CC as a leave in and my medium curly hair was always perfect- bouncy, defined, shiny and would hold body for three days between washings. I would only get regular shampoo once a month at the salon when I got my color.

To my utter horror, about two weeks ago I started losing a tremendoud amount of hair. Nothing had changed in my life or diet and I checked with my dermatologist. I bought some pureology shampoo and within three washings the hair loss had decreased by over 70-80% so I have to assume it was from the wen.

Problem is, my hair looks terrible, no matter what I do- no conditioner gives me enough moisture without making my hair look dirty and I can't get rid of the frizzies without piling on all kinds of product that just coats my hair and makes it worse.

So, I was wondering if perhaps I should just use regular shampoo and use wen as a rinse out and a leave in conditioner.

My questions are

1. for those who experienced hair loss issues, have anyof you been able to avoid the hair loss just by using shampoo in addition to the wen?

2. for anyone else, who perhaps just likes the idea of using something that lathers, do you find that using the wen only as a conditioner gives you similar results to using it alone/
