I always had a chin length bob and WEN worked fine in my hair reducing the frizz, etc. and I was able to got about three days without washing it. Now I cut it into a pixie but and I find that after one day my hair is not "clean" and not manageable. I think its because the hair is so short that that my scalp is getting to oily. Any suggestions or is WEN better on long hair.

Are you using more styling products with the pixie than with your previous cut?

When you cut your hair, you should make changes to how you use your Wen products.

I too had a chin length bob, really too much hair, very thick. I just got a pixie, and had it thinned out esp. in the back. The WEN still works great, I just adjusted the amount I use.
It works great to keep my hair soft, lots of shine and settles down the grays. I find a bottle
of CC will now last a lot longer, and is now more affordable with shorter hair.
I do have a question which product of WEN is best to give lift at the crown, top
of the head? I have never used the other styling products just the CC so any advice
of getting soft lift on top of head for a pixie cut would be appreciated.
Thanks

With shorter hair, you will get oilier quicker than with longer hair. Less hair to absorb the oil. Use less WEN and maybe only one wash, very good one, but one. I have a long pixie and wash everyday! I've had to go to shampoo because it does get so oily as I have oily hair naturally and need the sulphate free cleaning so I can make it through the day. Moisturizing shampoos are a no, no and so is conditioner. I use a shampoo for fine hair, Shea Moisture Thickening in the green bottle. It adds volume to my short do, while conditioners weigh it down. I will use a bit of Moroccan oil on my ends, as I heat style, once a week or so. Anything more than that, and I get no lift and flat, oily hair.
Try one cleanse and a good blow dry or fan dry! I love a good cold air blow dry, especially after a hot shower to being hot. It dries just as fast, but is cold!

My daughter has a pixie and cleanses 1-2x a week.

I have a pixie cut and wash only twice a week, I use WEN 6 pumps and only one wash and I don't add a leave in pump.

I used to have a shorty-short cut....and I just used super-cheap shampoo/conditioner....and I washed 2x/day since I was working out. Those 3-in-1 formulas worked really well. If I wanted it to be fuller on top, I would just skip the conditioner. That's the beauty of shorty-short hair...less $$ w/ S/C & products.
