According to the vendor, who I saw on with Jane T. earlier, the Trinity and the Mini both have the same size "heads", the same power, and the same technology. The difference is that the mini has 3 levels and the Trinity has 5, the mini has and auto shut-off at 5 mins., the Trinity is longer (20 mins., I think), and the Trinity head can be removed to put in other attachments.

I have an old nuface from years ago (which is still working great) but I upgraded to the mini this time around. My reasoning was that the old one is quite heavy and not as easy to travel with but mostly I'm not sure that the battery operated ones can be as good as the newer rechargeable models. I read somewhere you're supped to change the battery on the old nuface every month... but I forget and then I'm using it and see the green light is looking quite dim so I swap the battery. Then when I use it (especially on my forehead) I can feel the current much more than I could before (obviously being a dim battery!) but then I think how long has the current been off? Maybe I'm over thinking this! Anyway I thought it was a good time to trade up.
