There are many hosts and guests that claim a product is the reaso they look younger then they are.
I am watching Amanda B on hsn and she is proud to be 75 , for that age her skin is nice, and they also commented on how young Bobby looks, but come on, you know they had something done, which is fine, but admit it!
The product may help but it is obvious many people have had work done.
I think its great we can look younger this way, I love Christie Brinkley for example, but even she had something done and she admits to having had tweeks..

I believe Christie Brinkley has had more than "tweeks". With that being said, if I had the money to have fillers, I would go for it. However, I will not buy any products from someone who has had work done on their face. Just my opinion.

Reminds me of Nicole Kidman in the Neutrogena ads. Don’t trust her.

By now common knowledge no snake oil or cream lifts the face or fills..why? Torture yourselves getting in a tizzy over what someone else says.

@darlight Christy B. has had a heck of a lot more than "Tweeks" done on her face.... she has had EVERYTHING DONE. And of course with her money she has the best surgeons money can buy.... and she was beautiful to begin with. Not everyone is so fortunate. AND Of course Christy admits to having work done as it is obvious.
With 80 year old Jane Fonda... Jane looks pretty good with all the work, She was a pretty woman to begin with and looks great for 80 with all the work done..... but it is very obvious when you see her close up that she too has had EVERYTHING done to her face to preserve it somewhat. Close up shots show everything.... But Jane will not discuss the fact that she has had work done and got very upset at an interviewer a few months back when they asked her about that. Different strokes for different folks!

I agree that it is not altogether fair. I, for one, really cannot tell, like so many of you who have more experience with procedures, whether or not someone has had extraneous face care besides topicals.
What I do know, however, is what certain topicals can do for skin, as well as knowing the function of skin.
You really do need to educate yourself before allowing your minds to fill in some of the blanks! (But not just in caring for one's skin.)

You still need 'good skin' and good skin care products even if you've had 'work done'.

I don't think Amanda has had work. I agree about the others but there's something about the texture and how her skin falls on her bone structure (face) that doesn't have that "look" of fillers, lifts, botox, etc.
Does that make sense? HER mother has great skin as well and has been very open about being terrified of any kind of surgery (which hasn't been a good thing due to health issues she's had). In their case, genetics and good skin care/good living HAS been the ticket to beautiful skin.

I had a plastic surgeon tell me that five years is the most that can be 'subtracted'. The loss of bone, fat, shifting downward due to gravity and
the decrease in elasticity of all tissues cannot be surgically
or medically compensated for. Not by Botox, fillers or surgery.
Looking good for your age is the best goal.
Sunscreen and avoidance of sun really is paramount but must
start in childhood.

Yes! And, I don't understand why I continue to read posts here by women who still don't get this. These lines aren't selling facelifts and injections. They are selling products to improve the skin texture. That's it! All you have to do, is get thru all the sales hype and figure out what works best for your skin type.
