I envy people who go to a job every day with no makeup. Their morning routine must be so much shorter and easier than for those of us who take the time to put on our "face".

Since I feel more confident wearing makeup, I use it. I've worn lipstick since I was 11 years old. I'm just too old to analyze why I enjoy it so much. Maybe because I love the entire process of applying it and seeing the results....

I don't wear makeup.  My skin is nice and even so I don't need foundation or blush.  I hate lipstick... I hate the feel of it and I have no need for eye makeup either.  My brows are dark and don't need filled in.

i know how to professionally apply makeup and have worn it on special occasions and also to hide redness when I get poison ivy really bad.

I love makeup. I enjoy sitting and playing with it. Right now being disabled I really don't have a place where I can reach everything and sit and play.  I am looking forward to moving and organizing my makeup where I can reach it. Even though I don't go out of the house much I will still do it everyday when I have a place to put it. So right now I don't really do it everyday or very often.

This is the beauty board.  I would think most of us who read/post here wear some makeup.  I always wear at least a CC cream that has sunscreen in it as well as brow pencil and lip gloss.

That's my mimimum and takes about 2 minutes to apply.  If I want to add mascara, liner, shadow, blush...maybe another 2 minutes?   I don't understand the remarks about how this takes so much time?

If I am going to be home, I only wear moisturizer.  When I go out, I wear tinted moisturizer, sometimes a sheer powder, lipstick, brown mascara and a little blush.

That's my routine too! And it takes me 30 minutes to put on my makeup. If I try to be faster or skip some steps, I just don't look "finished" to me! I wish I could do it in a couple of minutes, like some posters here but I just can't.
