mac217 hype?

Hi all--just wanted to add a rave for the MAC 217 brush. I know it is much hyped HG brush by all the makeup gurus. The hype sorta turned me off to it for years and decided to pick up a few touted dupes from various sources instead. Was never impressed with the dupes which dampened my impression of the hype over the 217. Anywho, I found myself working with two totally different brushes to get the same job done that this brush is suppose to do.

Anywho, I decided to toss it in with a recent order of christmas presents. Just got it a couple of days ago and OMG. Love it. None of the dupes compare to this brush. The dupes were the same shape but always too soft, flimsy and sometimes too big for my small eyes. The 217 brush is soft but firm and I actually can do a smokey eye in a breeze now that I have this brush.

Sometimes the hype is true. If you have a wish list for christmas and don't have this brush-I would definitely add it to your wish list!
