T-Gel shampoo will take care of it and quickly. I use it and add just a little of my normal shampoo with it. I wash my hair and let the shampoo set on it for a few minutes then rinse and condition with my normal conditioner.

Check to see that the ingredients in your shampoo/conditioner aren't from China. They use all sorts of things that could cause you to scratch. Also, check your shower head and see if it also comes from China. The shower filter inside can cause itching on scalp and skin. Don't buy anything from that country.

I would go to a board-certified dermatologist as they treat those with scalp disorders (as well as skin and nail disorders, though, actually the scalp is the skin
I'd gone to a dermatologist for what I thought was "dry scalp" (as I don't have large flakes which used to be characteristic of dandruff), and the dr said that it was actually from seborrheic dermatitis of the scalp. The skin/scalp disorder can mimic other skin issues, such as scalp psoriasis, but getting the right diagnosis can help with getting the proper treatment.
The medicated shampoo helped my scalp, however, it really dried out my hair. Some have suggested only using it on the scalp itself rather than as a regular shampoo. Please follow the instructions from the dr. If the shampoo is from the local store, please adhere to the directions on the back of the bottle. (Please refrain from purchasing shampoo/conditioner from a "dollar store" as they might have fake or counterfeit products.)

I always have had good results with vinegar rinse. In an empty tint&toner bottle with a narrow nozzle, mix ACV or white vinegar, diluted : 1-part vinegar to 4 parts water (distilled or spring water is best)
apply to just the scalp, saturating it with pointed nozzle. you can rinse it off if the scent is an issue. I do this after cleansing but you can try using before washing. Be sure to dilute the vinegar, do not get it near the face, its very acidic but it cuts through build-up which can cause itching. worth a try before going to a derm.
I have a friend who used Coconut Oil and that helped too.

I use Sweet 'N Low. Found this after a lot of research on the web. Then found out my new hair dresser uses it after coloring hair. A few packets in water and then spray on the scalp. It has now helped so many of my friends. Has something to do with stabilizing the pH level. Also helps with burning scalp syndrome.

Start massging your scalp with Maracuja oil at bedtime. Not every night, of course, but a few times a week and shampoo in the morning. The oil will balance out the scalp and stop the itc--hing.

I'm wondering if you could be more specific and support your statement with links to facts. While you're at it, could you let me know about Canada, Brazil, USA, France, Belgium, Spain, Japan, India, Egypt, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil and Sweden to name a few?
I would really appreciate your source on this. Heavens knows the US has never had any products recalled, right?
