Hi ladies!
I’ve dealt with hormonal acne for years (chin area mainly). I started Andrew Lessman women’s wellness vitamins recently and haven’t had any new breakouts. I think it’s helping!
I took spirinolactin in the past and it worked great but it had negative side effects. This supplement is supposed to help balance hormones in a natural way.
Just thought I’d share in case someone else is suffering with hormonal acne.

I forgot to say Hi & Welcome to the Forums.

I kept getting breakouts by my temple area along with menopause. It did stop after I started taking Andrew Lessman Women's Wellness & now I take his Ultimate Women's Wellness.

Nothing else I tried helped. Have not had any breakouts since.

Good luck.  I've had flare ups since 1981.  I'm well known at the derm's office for the hard, red, painful cyst that come up every two years in different places.

I once, (on my way to a conference at the other end of the state), told them I'd just "stand in the hall and get an injection".  That's how LONG I have dealt with this.  My first pregnancy brought it on.

Good luck!

@Beautyobessed Wow, I will have to try that.  I have started suffering from hormonal acne since my late 30s (and I am in my early 40s now).  I have tried EVERYTHING, all kinds of face wash, creams, and ointments.  But I have not tried the vitamin that you mentioned. I'll have to try it!

Believe it or not I went back to ProAcitv to use around my chin area and it’s been working great.

By the way it’s the “ultimate” women’s wellness that I’m using. I’ve had acne for 20 years! I’m 40. I’m thrilled with this supplement.

I am so happy that I saw this thread!  I have dealt with acne since I was 13 and I am now 52.  Through a lot of education, I have been able to deal with my acne and it has definitely calmed down a lot as I've gotten older.  But, just over the last couple of months, I've had breakouts on my chin and under my chin that I just can't get rid of.  I was thinking about going to the dermatologist, but then I started reading about Differin so I've been using it for about a month now.  It's made a slight difference but it can take up to three months to see the full effect from the Differin.  Anyway, the breakouts are driving me crazy!  I believe I"m menopausal (I had a hysterectomy when I was 47, so I don't have the normal signs of menopause.).  I'm going to try this supplement from Andrew!  Maybe it will work for me!

Beautyobsessed, what negative side effects did you experience? I too have suffered acne my entire life. I finally found spironolactone & love it! I've been using it for many, many years, low dose, 50mg & never had any issues. It's a very old drug which means it's side effects are known & the drug has been well studied.

Other benefits: It does give me a lot more hair on my head than I already have & it's very inexpensiveSmiley Happy
